They appear on the 1880 census living in Clayton with Catherine's daughter, Mrs Wm. Stephens. Catherine died August 5, 1881 and Amasa died March 27,1882. Both are buried in Clayton Village.

RHODA CLEVELAND, daughter of ISAAC CLEVELAND and MAMRE or MAMRA MATTHEWS. RHODA was born 25 April 1800. She died in Marcellon Columbia County Wisconsin March 18, 1855 and is buried in Marcellon Cemetary.

Amasa Cook was born 21 July 1798 and died 27 March 1882 at Clayton, Jefferson Co., NY. He married on 5 September 1819 to Rhoda Cleveland, b 25 April 1801 at Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH. She died 18 March 1855 at Marcellon, Columbia Co, WI and is buried in the Marcellon Cemetery. Amasa married 2)Catharine Timmerman Hudson on 25 August 1857 at Ballston, Oswego Co., NY. She was born 7 June 1801 in Herkimer Co., NY and was the widow of William C. Hudson. Catherine died 5 August 1881 in Clayton, Jefferson Co., NY. Amasa died intestate and Letters of Administration were granted to William H. Stevens on 18 July 1882 in Jefferson County. The family moved to Wisconsin about 1847 and Amasa returned to Jefferson Co., in the late 1860's, probably after the death of his first wife, Rhoda.

Martin A. Cook b 14 July 1822 at Rodman, Jefferson Co., NY; d 11 Feb. 1898 at Pardeeville, Columbia Co., WI. He married on 19 March 1848 in Jefferson Co., NY to Emeline C. Griffin, born 12 Oct. 1828 in Columbus, Chenango Co., NY. She was the daughter of Dr. John W. Griffin. Martin is buried in the Marcellon Cemetery in Columbia Co., WI. There is no marker found for Emeline, who died 26 February 1881.
