PIONEER COON FAMILY


1. FLORELLO COON, b 6 Dec 1822 in Lower Canada, moved during the 1840s to Jefferson County. After the death of LYDIA, he moved to Otoe County, NB where he remarried and had 6 more children. He died 7 Nov 1891 in Columbus, Cherokee County, KS.

2 i SILAS J. COON, b 22 Feb 1852 Jefferson Co. NY; d. Oct 3, 1888 Cherokee Co. KS

He married (2) 1 Nov 1858 in Atchison, MO
ANNA BENNETT, who was born 26 Aug 1826 in VA and died 13 Aug 1900 in Cherokee County, KS
