1. ISAAC CORNWELL was born 17 Sep 1750. He served in the Revolutionary War. He removed from Middletown, Ct., to Vermont before 1800, and later, settled in Theresa, Jefferson County. He died in 1837.

3. DANIEL CORNWELL (son of ISAAC AND CANDACE (SMITH) CORNWELL) was born 10 Jul 1781. He settled settled in the Town of Cape Vincent following his marriage to Betsey Farr. He served in the War of 1812 and saw action in the Battle of Sackett's Harbor. His immigrant ancestor, William Cornwell, is first recorded in New England church records in 1633. William Cornwell was one of the original founders of Middletown, Ct. in 1650.
