PIONEER DUNHAM FAMILY



1. Noah DUNHAM, Sr, (son of JESSE and LOIS (HATCH) DUNHAM) was born at Royalton, Windsor Co VT 5 November 1784. NOAH DUNHAM, Sr came to Watertown c1819, where he operated the first paper mill. Thirteen years later (1832) the family moved to Point Salubrious, and were among the first settlers there. Noah DUNHAM, Sr. died 29 August 1853, and is buried at Pt. Salubrious Cemetery.

He married 2 November 1813, at Royalton, Windsor Co., VT.
SARAH PINNEY, daughter of ISAAC and MARY (PARKHURST) PINNEY, who was born 27 March 1792, at Royalton Windsor Co VT. SARAH died September 1878. Assume she died at Pt. Salubrious, but the book I used for reference states Watertown. No indication as to where she is buried.

Children, DUNHAM:

2 i NOAH DUNHAM, Jr, born 14 September 1814 in the northern part of Vt; married 1. Caroline (?), and 2. Susan Olive HORTON.

3 ii SARAH P. DUNHAM married Henry HORTON, Jr
