1. SAMUEL EDMONDS, son of JOHN & MARGRET (---) EDMONDS was born after 1784 and before 07/30/1787 probably at Hillsdale, Columbia County, NY. He was baptized at Nobletown by travelling minister Rev. Gideon Bostwick on 07/30/1787

In 1807, was running a blacksmithing business with his brother Richard in Adams. He served in War of 1812 with 55th Regt of NY Volunteers from Lorraine.

Census: 1810 - Adams, Jefferson, NY, 1820 - Lorraine, Jefferson, NY, 1830 - New Marlborough, Berkshire, MA ?

His wife's name is unknown, but they had at least two children.
