1. ANDREW KEECH (JAMES2, GEORGE ?1) was born April 02, 1798 in TOWN OF WESTERN, NY, and died April 10, 1886 in CLAYTON, NY. He settled in Jefferson Co before 1830. During the War of 1812, three of his brothers served. We are still trying to research Harvey Keech who also is listed in the 1850 Jefferson Co census, Town of Alexandria. He appears to be the son of Albert. Albert, John, and Henry Keech all moved from the Town of Western to Lennox/Addington Co, Ontario, Canada, c1830.
In the New York 1830 census of Jefferson County, NY he is # 288 Brownville. By 1840, he had moved to Clayton ( # 734).1880 U.S. Census Town of Clayton, Jefferson Co, NY:
