1. SMITH LUTHER (son of THEOPHILUS & RHOBE (SMITH) LUTHER) was born 16 October 1800 in Russia, Herkimer Co., New York, a brother of ISAAC LUTHER. Luther Hill Cemetery record says SMITH was born Watertown, NY, but older and younger sibings were born in Russia, NY; also mother died in Russia, NY so it's not likely family moved there before 1800.
