Thursday June 11th 1863: Was taken down sick was there with a fever
Saturday July 4th 1863: Had a great picnic
Tuesday July 7th: reported for duty today
Sunday July 12th, 1863: Had a terrible thunderstorm & a deluge of rain was out in all of it
Wednesday July 15th 1863: Was paid 26 dollars
Thursday July 23rd 1863: Sent $21 home
