Listed as Levi's daughter in letter from Levi's grandson Dr. Eugene Chapman dated 1909. Dates are from same source. 1880 census for Julia (Chapman) Patterson indicates that both parents were born in NH. Obituary from St. Lawrence Mercury said she was in her 71st year, born and reared in Parishville

Her funeral was held 19 Nov 1919 in Potsdam. Memorial service held by Women's Christian Temperance Union, where Mary had served as treasurer.
