BENJAMIN CHAMBERLAIN was born in 1758 in Templeton, Mass., was a Revolutionary soldier, and died in 1844 in Brattleboro, VT. He married PATTY WHEELOCK and their children were:
John, Betsey, Polly, Luke, Patty, Sally, Cyrus, Nathan, Nancy and Benjamin, Jr.

BENJAMIN CHAMBERLAIN, JR. was born 5 May 1784 in Winchester, MA and settled in Ellisburg, NY in 1809, and died 8 November 1861. He married on 3 Feb. 1804 in Newfane, VT to LUCRETIA BOYDEN, who was born in Newfane on 21 April 1784 and died 25 April, 1872.
Their children were:

ELLIOTT, b 13 May 1805 d 27 July 1863; married Eliza____
RILEY b 10 April 1807 in Marlboro, VT. He died on 21 Jan. 1872; married PERMELIA BOOMER
HORACE, b Ellisburg, NY 5 July 1809 and d 17 April 1889. He married 26 April 1838 DELILAH BRIMMER.
Their children were:

SARAH m HARLOW G. CLARK

NANCY, b Ellisburg, NY 25 April 1811 and d 1 Sept. 1885; married on 13 Jan. 1828 to LEONARD BOOMER
JULIA, b Ellisburg, NY 24 July 1813 d 12 Jan. 1861; married JOHN T. WITTER
LUKE, b Ellisburg, NY 2 April 1815; served in the Civil War and d 1 Sept. 1896 at Manistee, Michigan.

He married 1)JULIA BARNES and their children were:
JULIA AMANDA, widow of JOHN SMYLIE, who once lived at Lott's Creek, Humbolt, Iowa
____ m. Mr. Stoddard and lived in Woodville, St. Croix Co., WI

Luke married 2)LANNAH ANN KLOCK and their children were:
ELIZABETH m. GRENVILLE K. ESTES and had three sons: Ward, Dore, Claire
CORA married LEO HALE and their children were: Everett and Gladys
FRED, or ALFRED married ELLA SCOTT

GEORGE, b Ellisburg, 1 Dec. 1823 and d 29 Aug. 1879; married HARRIETT REYNOLDS on 28 Jan. 1850
CLARISSA, b Ellisburgh, NY 28 May 1826 and d 6 Oct. 1912, unmarried
ALFRED BOYDEN, b Ellisburgh, NY 7 Aug. 1828 and d Mondovi, WI 11 Oct. 1899.
