PIONEER ISAAC ROGERS FAMILY


1. ISAAC ROGERS was born ca. 1759 in Rhode Island. He and his wife moved to Adams from Hoosick in 1826 when he bought land from Mandeville. They had 12 children all born in Hoosick. Later they moved to the Town of Brownville and settled in the Dexter area.

He married
RHODA CHASE. Their son JOHN died in Limerick, Town of Brownville in 1892 at 105 years. A son STEPHEN froze to death in a blizzard at Parsons, Aurora County, South Dakota on 12 January 1888. A son ORLANDO was born 25 April 1854 at Dexter and died 8 June 1923 at Pillager, Minnesota.
