April 1st, SARAH ANN, youngest daughter of HIRAM and PAMELIA HOWLAND, of Pamelia, age 18 years.
At Mannsville, on the 7th May, instant, CHARLES CARROLL WARDWELL, son of DANIEL WARDWELL, Esq., in the 30th year of his age. He lost his eyesight at age 6 and was educated at the Institution for the Blind in New York City. He became a proficient pianist and was a successful teacher of that instrument until his health failed.

In this village, May 10, Mr. WILLIAM FOX, age 47.
Suddenly of disease of the heart, on the morning of the 13th inst., in the hope of a blessed immortality, the christian wife of ALVAN C. BRAINARD, of this town, age 47 years and 5 months. The funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. P. Snyder (her name not given)
In Pamelia, on Sunday last, MRS. ELLEN BAGLEY, wife of B. B. BAGLEY, age 29 years.
In LeRay, NY, April 21st, after a protracted and painful sickness, MRS. EMILY DAVENPORT, wife of PLATT W. DAVENPORT, and youngest daughter of JOHN ROGERS, Esq., of Antwerp, NY, age 30 years and 6 months. She was a wife and mother.
Died:
At his residence in Clayton, on the 21st inst., CORNELIUS VAN CAMP, of brain fever and quick consumption, age about 45 years.
In Alexandria, on the morning of the 15th inst., after a long and protracted sickness of nearly eight months, which he bore with patience and calm submission to the will of Providence, Mr. WILLIAM PERDUN, age 55 years, formerly of Saratoga Co., NY. He left a widow.
At Rutland, on the 18th inst. MRS. CATHARINE HILL, widow of Mr. ASA HILL, of Rodman, of dropsy of the heart, age 78 years. She had been a member of the Baptist Church of Rodman for more than 40 years.
Married: At Three Mile Bay, on the 26th of May, by Rev. J. H. Stewart, Mr. DELACOUR POMEROY to Miss FRANCES ELIZABETH EMPY, only daughter of C. EMPY, Esq., of Lyme.

In LeRay, on the 21st of May, MRS. GITY PRICE, wife of JOSEPH PRICE, age 47 years.
At the residence of her sister, Mrs. McKeon, on Rutland Street, in this village, on the 9th of May, Miss CATHARINE HUNTER, age 45 years.

Died:
In Champion, on Sabbath morning, the 12th inst., Hon. NOADIAH HUBBARD, in the 95th year of his age.
On the 5th inst., at the residence of his son-in-law, John R. Sterling, Esq., in Antwerp, EZRA CHURCH age 81 years. He was one of the first settlers in Antwerp, having lived there nearly half a century, and at the time of his death he was the oldest inhabitant in that town. He was born in Vermont, near the Connecticut River, and was a millwright by trade. He came into this state previous to the War of 1812 and was employed by Mr. David Parish to build the bridges on the turnpike from Denmark to Ogdensburg, which was made, or largely aided by that gentleman, to encourage and facilitate the settlement of his wildlands in the counties of Jefferson and St. Lawrence. The town of Antwerp, named by him after the city of that name in Belgium, was owned by Mr. Parish and Mr. Church's connection with the river, took him to that place where at an early day he purchased a part of the water power, and other real estate at the village of Antwerp. He built the first dam across the Indian River, in that village, and put the first busy wheels in motion there by its waters. He built and owned the first grist mill and the first carding machine and fulling mill there, and carried them on for several years, long, long ago. He was both husband and father.

On the 18th inst., RICHARD DIMICK, at his residence in Hounsfield, in his 30th year.
Note: Cemetery stone states he was 79 years.
On the 10th inst., at her residence, in Champion, MRS. HANNAH HENDERSON, age 77 years. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson were among the first settlers of Champion, where they moved in 1803, and passed the remainder of their lives. She leaves a large and bereaved family.
