Dropped Dead -
Mrs. E. Wiley dropped dead of heart disease while getting breakfast at the home of J. Freeman, her son-in-law, in this city Sunday morning. Mrs. Wiley was the mother of Mrs. Frank Schermerhorn of Brownville and Mrs. J. Freeman and Mrs. Stanley Davis of this city, and a sister of D. Carter. Her decease is sincerely regretted by many friends and relatives.

Sudden Death-
Albert F. Dickinson, age 39, residing at Mannsville, this county, and who is a charter member of the Jefferson County Undertaker's Association, was taken suddenly ill with pneumonia on Wednesday last, and died at an early hour Saturday morning. He successfully conducted an undertaking establishment in Mannsville. He was married a number of years ago to Miss Tinnie Streeter of Pinckney, a sister of Mrs. F. J. Johnson, of this city, and she is left with two daughters, age 13 and 11 respectively.

OBITUARY - G. C. Bradley
Gurdon Clark Bradley, an old resident of this county and a prominent farmer and stock raiser, died at his home in this city Thursday morning of heart disease. Mr. Bradley was born July 19, 1814 in Fairfield, NY and was a son of Gurdon Bradley, a prominent man and a capitalist of Herkimer County. He came to Watertown at the age of 25 and took up his residence at 49 Bradley Street. He was a well known Democrat and served one or two terms as a representative of his ward on the Board of Supervisors. He was for many years a vestryman of Trinity Church and when the old edifice burned down, was one of the most interested in replacing it with the present church on Court Street. He was a charter member of the Watertown Grange, in which for a number of years he was deeply interested. Mr. Bradley was twice married and leaves a wife, three sisters and a brother, as follows: Mrs. P. B. Hurlburt of Minneapolis; Mrs. Eliza A. Smith, Chicago; Mrs. Jane A. Hodges, Rochester, and Newton Bradley of Silver City, New Mexico. His funeral was held at 2:30 P.M. and the interment was at Brookside Cemetery.

A Fatal Fall-
Mrs. Lucretia Collins, wife of Linus Collins, died at her home on Point Peninsula, at 7 o'clock Friday afternoon. Last Wednesday she was apparently in her usual good health. She had prepared supper for herself and aged husband, and stepped into the cellar way to get some bread. A noise was hear, and her grandson, Linus Collins, Jr., quickly went to the cellar and found her lying at the bottom of the steps, unconscious, in which condition she remained until death. She was a large fleshy woman, and it is supposed her skull was broken, having fallen about 7 feet. She was 77 years of age and one of the oldest settlers of this place.

Sudden Death -
Thomas Mothersell, a painter, dropped dead at his home on Court St., Tuesday morning of heart disease. He was about 35 years of age and leaves a wife and two children.

At Worth -
Ozias E. Elmer, a resident of this town for several years, died at his home Sunday morning May 25th of consumption. He was born in Henderson, September 5, 1823. At the age of 7 years he with his parents moved to this town. Mr. Elmer was married to Esther Delavergue in 1849 who still survives. To them were born one son, William D. Elmer, who cared for father in his last hours as a son cares for their beloved parents until the end shall come. The funeral services were conducted at his late residence by the Rev. Dailey of St. Paul's Church, on Tuesday, May 27, at 11 A.M. ...

June 18, 1890, p. 5:

Wedding Bells -
Ida M. Carter, daughter of T. T. Carter of Adams, was married in the M. E. Church at Adams at 4 P.M. Wednesday, to Rev. Dr. Peck of Dansville. Chancellor Sims of Syracuse University, performed the ceremony. The bride was dressed in an imported cream silk bengaline and point lace for neck, with long full train, tulle veil and bridal roses. Miss Carter is a graduate of Adams Collegiate Institute and has taken special course in Claverack College and Syracuse University. The bridesmaids were Miss Bella Carter, sister of the bride, Miss Carrie Arms, Miss Helen Pierce and Miss Emma Brown. The best men were Charles Brown of the Univ. of Rochester, Herbert Wait of Adams, Fred Chamberlain of Rochester, W. Van Allen of Syracuse University. Rev. D. Peck, the groom, is a graduate of Syracuse University and has been president of Hedding College, Illinois. He has been pastor of one of the leading M. E. churches of Buffalo and is now at Dansville as pastor of the leading M. E. Church of that place. Among the numerous presents were a pair of gold embroidered slippers from the wife of Bishop Peck and a check for $1,000 from the bride's father and mother.

The bride wore a dress of cream white cashmere and silk with bridal veil and June roses. The bridesmaids were: Misses Cecil Garber, Annie L. and Julia M. Everard. The groomsmen were: Messrs. John Garber, George and Francis Everard. The couple received many beautiful presents.
