At her residence in Champion Village on the morning of the 19th inst., MRS. JERUSHA H. JOHNSON, relict of Dr. JOHN P. JOHNSON, in the 74th year of her age. Mrs. Johnson's illness was protracted and painful. She leaves a family of five grown up children and a large circle of friends. At Redwood, NY on August 17th, 1874, after a long and painful suffering, BENJAMIN WHITNEY, formerly of Potsdam Junction, NY, age 63 years. St. Lawrence Co. and New York papers please copy. Mr. Whitney, formerly of the well known Whitney House Potsdam Junction, NY, was well known to the traveling pubic as a first class hotel keeper. Retiring from hotel life in 1863, on account of ill health, he has been gradually failing up to the time of his death.
