PIONEER WAKEFIELD FAMILY


1. TIMOTHY WAKEFIELD was born 22 Oct 1760. Federal census records from 1820 show Timothy and Simon in Henderson, Jefferson, New York and Wyman in Ellisburg, Jefferson, New York. New York state census records show Timothy and Wyman in Ellisburg, Jefferson, NY in 1825, and Simon in Henderson, Jefferson, NY in 1825. TIMOTHY died 8 Sep 1827, somewhere near Sackets Harbor.

He married on 10 Sep 1784 (probably in Wardsboro, Windham, Vermont).
CHLOE CHAPIN, who was born 5 Sep 1767 Uxbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts. Their first ten children were born in Wardsboro, Windham County, Vermont. The last three were born probably in Jamaica, Windham County, Vermont. CHLOE died 27 Aug 1827, also somewhere near Sackets Harbor.

12. SARAH WAKEFIELD (daughter of TIMOTHY & CHLOE (CHAPIN) WAKEFIELD) was born 10 Mar 1806, probably in Jamaica, Windham County, Vermont.

She married on 15 Nov 1829.
JAMES MURRAY EDGERTON who was born 22 Jul 1803.

13. PARDON WAKEFIELD (son of TIMOTHY & CHLOE (CHAPIN) WAKEFIELD) was born 8 Mar 1808, probably in Jamaica, Windham County, Vermont.
