In the matter of the estate of ABRAHAM POWERS of Hounsfield, Jefferson Co., NY:

WILL OF ABRAHAM POWERS

ABRAHAM POWERS, at 66 years and upwards of Hounsfield, named his wife, CATHERINE POWERS, formerly HOSINGTON. Named his five children: ZELOTES, RACHEL, ZARUINA ABRAHAM GRIDLEY and LORING. Oldest son, Zelotes. Eldest daughter, Rachel. Second daughter, Zaruina, the now wife of ASA MARBLE. Named his second son, ABRAHAM GRIDLEY and his youngest son, LORING. A third of his farm which had been entered into between him and his oldest son, Zelotes, dated 1 April 1830. Named his two oldest sons, Zelotes and Abraham Gridley as executors of the will. Will dated: 29 May 1832. /s/ Abraham Powers.
Witnesses: EVANDER SPALDING of Hounsfield and SAMUEL G. WATSON of Watertown.
Will proved: 7 March 1833.

NOTE: Abraham Powers died 22 Jan. 1833 at 67 years and is buried in the Muskalonge Cem., Hounsfield, Jefferson Co.
