In the matter of the estate of Asahel Hoisington of Ellisburgh, Jeff. Co., NY:
Upon the petition of Ira Caster, of Ellisburg, NY, he stated that Asahel had died a natural death on or about the ninth day of April 1842, leaving a widow and one child and some personal property. The widow of the Asahel is now the wife of Hiram L. Main of Ellisburgh and her name is Emret Main and she resides in Ellisburg. The name of the child of Asahel is George A. Hoisington who is under 14 years of age and that Hiram L. Main has been appointed by the Court of Chancery as the general guardian of the infant child.
Further that the deceased was indebted to the petition for about $15.29 on an account and the same is yet due. Therefore he asks that letters of administration be granted on the estate to him. Dated 26 June 1847.

Thedy Salisbury, wife of Edward L. Salisbury
Emily Brown, wife of Nelson Boomer
Amanda Rice, wife of Ranklin Rice, the said Thedy and Emily and Amanda being sisters of the deceased and all reside in Ellisburgh together with the widow and child, who constitute the next of kin.
