On 21 June 1859, MARY HAVEN and NATHANIEL HAVEN, SR., petitioned to open probate.

MARY HAVEN is the widow of DEXTER HAVEN.
DEXTER HAVEN of Pamelia, made his will at age 55. He named his father, NATHANIEL HAVEN. Named his wife, MARY HAVEN. Directed a good pair of grave stones be erected for himself and wife after her death. Named his brother, NATHANIEL HAVEN, JR. Named WILLIAM N. and MARY M. GRANNIS, children of J. WELLS and MARY H. GRANNIS. Named the Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and the American Bible Society and the Superanater fund of the Black River Conference. Remainder of estate to his brothers and sisters: HEPZIBAH MILLS, MEHALA ASHER'S HEIRS, NEVEL HAVEN, ISAAC C. HAVEN, ASENATH SLOAT and CHARLES W. HAVEN. Appointed his wife, Mary and WILLIAM USHER? and CHARLES W. HAVEN as executors.

Dexter Haven revoked any gift he made before to NATHANIEL HAVEN of Pamelia. He named WILLIAM USHER of the State of Missouri.
