In the matter of the estate of FERDINAND E. HASSLER of Cape Vincent, Jeff. Co., NY:
FRANCIS N. FITCH of Cape Vincent, a creditor of the deceased, stated that Ferdinand departed this life on 15 April 1869 at Cape Vincent and left no will.

MARIOME C. C. JOHNSON of Walnut Grove, Knox Co., Illinois, sisters of the deceased.
CHAS. W. HASSLER, FERDINAND A. HASSLER and MAY C. NEWCOMB of Washington, D.C., children of Dr. CHAS. A. HASSLER, a deceased brother of the said Ferdinand E. Hassler.
J. W. B. HASSLER and RUDOLPH HASSLER of Jackson Court House, Jackson Co., W. Virginia
CAPT. J. J. S. HASSLER of the US Service, believed to be at present somewhere in the State of Oregon, sons of SCIPIO HASSLER, a deceased brother of said Ferdinand Hassler, deceased.{

Your petitioner further shows that he does not know the present address of said Capt. Hassler and cannot readily procure the same if at all. Your Petitioner further shows that said decedent left a widow, MRS. ELIZABETH HASSLER who resides at Cape Vincent. That the said widow and next of kin are all of full age.

It was later determined that Capt. J. J. S Hassler was of Fort Petterman, Wyoming Territory.
