Charles C. Tousley of Adams, a nephew of the deceased, petitioned to open probate and stated that Gideon died in Ellisburg on 7 April 1889 and executed his will. Petition filed 15 April 1889.

Reuben Barnes Tousley, a brother, of SanFrancisco, California
Fletcher Tousley, a brother, last known in Dubuque, Iowa.
Edwin F. Tousley, nephew of Smithville, Jeff. Co., NY
Charles C. Tousley, nephew of Smithville
Mary E. Grant, niece, of Rodman, NY
The above three are the children of a brother, Ira G. Tousley, now deceased
Emma A. Mayo, brother's widow, of E. Palermo, Oswego co., NY
Mary Tousley, niece.
The last two named are the widow and daughter of a brother, James R. Tousley, now deceased.
All are over 21 years of age, except Mary S. Grant, who was 14 years of age on 25 April 1888.
Gideon names his nephews and nieces: Augustus D. Bemis and Mary A. Graves, son and daughter of my sister, Rena Bemis, both of Plymouth, WI. Charles C. Tousley of Adams, NY and Mary E. Tousley of Rodman, NY, son and daughter of my brother, Ira Tousley. Claricy Ida Tousley of Ellisburgh, daughter of my nephew, Edwin F. Tousley. He appointed Charles C. Tousley of Adams as sole executor. Will dated 27 February 1889. /s/Gideon T. Tousley
