JOEL IVES made his will at age 54. He named his wife, SARAH IVES. Gave her land that was next to the old Ayers farm in the Fields Settlement. Named his daughters, JULIA HALL, wife of SOLOMON HALL and MARY A. IVES, LUCY A. IVES and his son, JAMES I. IVES. Gave his daughter, LOUISA HORR, wife of RILEY HORR of Pilot Knob, Missouri, JULIA HALL, wife of SOLOMON HALL and MARY A. IVES and LUCY A. IVES. He named EDWARD L. MASSEY of Watertown, as Executor.
