WILL OF JOTHAM IVES
JOTHAM IVES of Watertown, named son, GARRET IVES. Named daughter, AMANDA WHITE and her husband, HARRY WHITE. Named daughter, Amanda, to receive real estate. Directed wife, Amy to support and educate his grandson, FRANCIS IVES, and gave him land on the west side of the Rome state road, near Sacketts Harbor road. After Amy's death, the rest of his real estate would go to son, GARRET IVES and AMANDA WHITE.
Named GILUS IVES and AMY IVES as executors. Will dated 20 March 1841. /s/ Jothan Ives
