WILL OF OLIVER ELMER

OLIVER ELMER named DELIGHT ELMER, and left her 20 acres of land in the town of Henderson being the west part of Subdivision of Lot No. 4 on Great Lot No. 12. Will dated: 6 September 1827.

Witnesses: ASA SMITH, JOHN D. CLARKE and JOHN ELMER, JR.
Will proved: 14 May 1833.

Jefferson Co., NY Wills, Vol. A., p. 70.


NOTE: JOHN CLARK was the Administrator of the estate of Oliver Elmer and noted that Oliver had died in the fall of the year 1827. Further, that Delight Elmer was Oliver's sister.

JOHN CLARK was the Administrator of the estate of Delight Elmer, and stated that LOWERY BARNEY, one of her creditors, had petitioned to open probate and that she had died sometime in 1828.



WILL OF DELIGHT ELMER

DELIGHT ELMER of Henderson, named her venerable Mother widow SARAH CLARKE of Henderson the same land that Oliver had left to her in his will. Will dated: 5 November 1828
s/s Delight Elmer.
Witnesses: JOHN D. CLARK, ELIHU M. MCNEAL and ANSEL MCPEIL
Cyrus Cook inventoried her estate on 4 June 1829.
Will proved: 14 Sept. 1833.
