In the matter of the estate of Patrick Hart of Pamelia, Jeff. Co., NY:
Upon the petition of John Binsse of Pamelia, Patrick Hart died in 1865, and made his last will. John Binsse was named as executor and his petition to open probate was dated 31 July 1865.

Will of Patrick Hart

Patrick named John Binsse as Executor and was to use the estate for the natural life of his wife, Ann Hart of Pamelia. After her decease, it was devised to his two nephews, John and Bernard Reynolds, their heirs and assigns. Wife, Ann, to receive income and profits of the trust estate in lieu of dower.

It appears from the dates of those living and deceased, that there may have been two Patrick Harts and the following abstracts seem to support this probability:

Ann Hart b 1787, d 28 August 1872 but her death was reported in the Watertown newspapers as 28 August 1878, wife of Patrick Hart.
Patrick Hart b 1803 d 27 June 1865 at 62 years, husband of Ann Hart.

In the 1850 census of Pamelia, Jeff. Co.:
Patrick Hart, age 48 b Ireland (occupation-distiller)
Ann Hart age 45 b Ireland
Ann Hart age 17 b NY 1833

In the 1855 census of Pamelia:
Patrick Hart age 53 b Ireland
Ann Hart, wife, age 52 born Ireland and both residents of Pamelia for 14 years.
Ann Hart, daughter, 22, born Onondaga, NY

In the 1860 census of Pamelia:
Ann Hart b 1795 Ireland with:
Matilda Hart, age 18 b Canada

In the 1865 census of Pamelia:
Patrick Hart, age 62, b Ireland, distiller, once married, now married, no children
Ann Hart age 85, b Ireland, 2 children, 2nd marriage, now married
John B. Reynolds, nephew, age 28, in the household
