In the matter of the estate of PRESERVED REDWAY of Ellisburgh, Jefferson Co., NY:

CHAUNCEY REDWAY petitioned to open the estate for probate in June of 1837.

WILL OF PRESERVED REDWAY

PRESERVED REDWAY named his son, HARVEY N. REDWAY and his daughter, MARY REDWAY. Named his son, ALBERT G. REDWAY. Named his son, ABEL REDWAY. Named oldest son, CHAUNCEY REDWAY. Chauncey was given a piece of land with the condition that he pay AZUBAH DWIGHT, his daughter and wife of DOCTOR PELITIAH DWIGHT of Henderson, NY, $100. Named his son, DAVID REDWAY. Named his son, DANIEL REDWAY. Named his wife, AZUBA REDWAY. Named his eldest son, Chauncey Redway, as executor. Will dated: 12 April 1837. /s/ Preserved Redway.
Witnesses: RUSSEL STOW and WALTER WEBB of Adams, Jefferson Co., NY
Will proved: 12 May 1837.

NOTE: Preserved Redway was a Revolutionary War Veteran; see Fonda List this site and the Redway site for additional family information. He was born 14 July 1764 in Rehoboth, MA and deceased 25 April 1837 at 73 years.
