WILL OF SAMUEL C. KANADY
SAMUEL C. KANADY asked to be buried at Evans Mills. Named his wife, POLLY KANADY and gave her the farm conveyed to him by ISAAC INGERSON and HULDA INGERSON, his wife, by deed of 13 Jan. 1834. After the death of Polly, all was to go to his children and their heirs. Named his eldest daughter, PAMELA N. KINGSBURY, and left her the Harper Family Library. Named eldest son, WILLIAM SIDNEY KANADY and gave him the remainder of his library. Named sons: ROBERT EMMET KANADY, CHARLES S. KANADY, ALEXANDER KANADY and THOMAS KANADY. Named daughters: BETSEY ANN ACKER, MARY KANADY and CAMELIA KANADY.
The guardianship of his sons, Charles and Alexander to his son-in-law, CHARLES ACKER and of his son THOMAS, to his daughter, MARY, and CAMELIA to his son, WILLIAM.
Appointed his wife, and son, William Sidney and son-in-law, Samuel Acker, as co-executors. Will dated 5 June 1834. /s/ Samuel C. Kanady
