"LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT"

I, JAMES HARRIS, of the town of Lyme, in the County of Jefferson and State of New York being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in manner following, that is to say;

FIRST: - I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.

SECOND: - I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Anne, all my property, both real and personal, to have , hold and enjoy with the use, rents and income and profits thereof for and during her widowhood.

THIRD: - At the termination of my said wifes widowhood I give and devise and bequeath all that remains after her support to my two daughters, Mildred and Maud and for them to share equal.

LASTLY, I hereby appoint my son Byron Harris executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness thereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name the tenth day of March in the year One thousand nine hundred and eight.

We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do certify that on the 10th day of March 1910 [sic 1908], James Harris the testator subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us and at the same time, in our presence and hearing declared the same to be his last Will and Testament and requested us and each of us to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof which we hereby do in the prosence of the testator and of each other on the said date, and write opposite our names our respective places of residence.

State of New York, County of Jefferson, Surrogate's Office. SS. Be it remembered, that on the 24th day of January, 1910 at a Surrogate's Court held on and for the County of Jefferson, the within Last Will of James Harris late of the Town of Lyme in said County deceased, was upon due proof admitted to probate as a will valid to pass real and personal property. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at the City of Watertown, on this 24th day of January A. D. 1910.

State of New York, County of Jefferson, Surrogate's Office, SS. I, Hermel de Sallier Clerk of the Surrogate's Court of the County of Jefferson , do hereby certify that I have compared the annexed copy of the Last Will and Testament and Certificate of Probate with the Original Last Will and Testament of James Harris late of the town of Lyme in said County deceased, and certificate of the probate thereof annexed thereto now remaining in said Surrogate's Office, and that the same if a correct transcript therefrom and of the whole of such original Last Will and Testament and Certificate of Probate. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed by name and affixed the seal of said Court at Watertown, this 24th day of January in the year 1910.
